The company is going to give people the option to bring back deleted data in Notepad in the Google Keep app.  This was a much awaited feature.

At present, even if something gets deleted by mistake, there is no option to recover it.  But soon you'll have that option on Android and iOS.

This feature is currently under testing and is present in the web version.  To recover the data, you have to click on the 3 dots appearing in the notepad and copy the history data.

 Photos will not be recovered

The Google Keep support page states that you can access your note history or even download a previous text file to view changes made over time.

However, you can only recover text files.  This means that you cannot get the photos back.  A Twitter user has shared the video of this Google Keep feature.

As of now, Google has not yet announced when this feature will be available on mobile apps.  The company already offers this feature in other Google apps like Docs and Drive.  Users were waiting for this feature for a long time, which the company is now giving to the people.
